Question 1

What does ARVO cost?

Accepted Answer

Nothing, for the organiser. You create an account, send enquiries and receive offers without paying ARVO anything, and no commission is taken on the booking. You pay the supplier the price the two of you agree.

Question 2

How do I book a supplier?

Accepted Answer

You find the supplier on ARVO and send an enquiry with the date, the location and the guest count. They send back an offer with a price, what is included and the terms, you accept it, and the booking is confirmed. The flow is enquiry, offer, acceptance, confirmation.

Question 3

When and how do I pay?

Accepted Answer

You choose how to pay when you accept the offer. Card, bank transfer, a bank claim and cash on the day are the options, and it is the supplier who decides which ones they take. A card payment happens inside the system, a transfer or a claim is marked when it arrives, and cash is paid on the day.

Question 4

Can I cancel?

Accepted Answer

An enquiry that has not been accepted you can withdraw yourself, and the supplier is notified. Once an offer has been accepted you cannot undo the booking on your own; you talk to the supplier and they cancel it. If anything has already been paid, it is settled between you and them. ARVO does not refund automatically.

Question 5

What if a supplier does not reply?

Accepted Answer

ARVO reminds them, and you can see in the system whether the enquiry has been opened. You do not have to wait on one: the same enquiry can go to several suppliers in the same category, and you choose from the offers that come back.
